We carry two main types of concrete fence posts – Slotted and Recessed.
Our slotted concrete fence posts are great for fixing fence panels or garden trellis fencing panels between and are long lasting and highly durable……perfect for stormy British winters. Our recessed concrete fence posts are ideal for closeboard fences, picket fencing or any fencing requiring rails. The rails can be bolted nicely to the recess to give a flat/narrow fence with great strength. Recessed concrete fence posts are available to suit fences ranging in height from 3ft to 6ft although special length concrete posts can be ordered but may take longer for delivery. As well as slotted and recessed concrete posts, we are able to source all sizes of concrete posts suitable for chain link fence, wire fences and weldmesh fences...details available on request. Including straining posts, end posts and all types of struts and intermediates to go with.
Perhaps your timber fence posts have finally cracked and collapsed over the winter or maybe you just want a concrete spur to ensure your timber fence posts don’t rot at ground level. Oakdale carry a 4ft repair spur or godfather post for concreting 3ft into the ground and leaving a good length above ground for fixing existing or new timber posts to. To accompany our posts and repair spurs we also carry a range of concrete gravel/kick boards to suit panel fencing. Each kick board is 6ft long to suit standard fence and trellis panels but comes in a choice of six inch or one foot depths. We have a choice of either plain face concrete gravel boards, rock faced kick boards or recessed gravel boards suitable for all applications. We carry the full compliment of zinc plated fittings, screws, bolts, and brackets for all requirements using concrete fence posts and gravel boards, and have a wide range of wires, barb wires, chainlink and mesh panels for other fencing jobs.
